Boys Hope Girls Hope Event

Scott Ruprecht - Monday, July 31, 2017

On-field experience for Boys Hope Girls Hope with FC Cincinnati Soccer and Giveback Sports. Traffic issues caused the other half of the kids to miss the on-field portion/private tour, but they made it for the start of the game.

We loaded them up at the concession stand when they arrived!

Giveback Sports helps NFL Head Coach Raise Thousands For His Charity

Scott Ruprecht - Thursday, June 08, 2017

We had 2 of our trips in the Live Auction for The Marvin Lewis Community Fund Annual Fundraiser on Saturday. Pretty cool that Giveback Sports helped an NFL Head Coach (Cincinnati Bengals) raise thousands for his charity. They get to help students with scholarships and we get to send a bunch of kids to games. Win-Win.

ESPN Interview

Scott Ruprecht - Thursday, June 08, 2017

Founder Scott Ruprecht went on Lance McAlister's Show on ESPN 1530 to talk Giveback Sports, the mission and our impact in the community. The interview was 5:17 minutes.

Lance (excerpts):

"I was tipped off to this venture a few weeks ago and thought wait...this is a really cool concept."

"I am fascinated by what you are doing."

"Just talking to people this is gaining momentum and hitting its stride."

"I would think the looks on kids faces is very powerful and rewarding for you."

"Scott, I love this idea. Congrats on what you have going on. The mission sending kids to games who otherwise can't do it on their own. Really cool testimonials on the site."

Avoiding Culture Shock: The Questions You Should Be Asking During An Interview

Scott Ruprecht is the founder and president of Giveback Sports. He recently interviewed several candidates for various open positions. He told HER Magazine many college graduates and interns "are drawn to profit-plus-purpose businesses like Giveback Sports. For every ticket or travel package sold, we dedicate a portion of our profits to send less fortunate youth to live sporting events."

He believes companies like his have an advantage.

"We don't need to emphasize culture and vision during the interview process - candidates can see it right in front of them," says Ruprecht. "They just want to know how they can be part of it."
